Page Publishing & Updating

LiftPilot allows you to easily publish your landing pages and update them after they've gone live.

Publishing a Draft Page

When you are working on a new page or a page that has not yet been published, its status will be "Draft".

  1. Once you are ready for your page to be accessible to visitors, click the Publish button located in the top right corner of the page editor.

  2. After clicking "Publish", the page status will change to "Published". Your page is now live.

Editing a Published Page

If your page is already published, the button in the top right corner will change from "Publish" to "Edit". To make changes to a published page:

  1. Click the Edit button in the top right corner.

  2. A modal titled "Edit Published Page" will appear, informing you that the page is already published and asking if you are sure you want to edit it.

  3. Click Edit within this modal to proceed.

  4. The page status will then change to "Unsaved Changes". You can now make modifications to your page in the editor.

Updating a Published Page

After making changes to a published page (which will show a status of "Unsaved Changes"):

  1. Click the Update button in the top right corner to save and publish your changes.

Reverting Unsaved Changes

If you have made changes to a published page ("Unsaved Changes" status) but decide not to save them, you can revert back to the last published version.

  1. Click the Clock Icon status indicator in the top right of the editor.

  2. A modal titled "Revert Changes" will appear, asking if you are sure you want to revert back to the last saved version.

  3. Click Confirm to discard your unsaved changes and return the page to its last published state.

Unpublishing the Page

You can unpublish the page, or all generated pages at once, at any time through the Page Settings modal with the Publish Page toggle. This option is not available while you are editing an already published page. You have to revert the changes or update them to access the Publish Page button in the Page Settings modal.

  1. Click on the cog (options) icon in the top right corner.

  2. This will open the Settings modal window.

  3. Under the General section, there is a Publish Page toggle switch to publish or unpublish your page or pages.

  4. Click it to unpublish your page, or all generated pages.

  5. You can publish or unpublish the page or pages at any time.
