The Forms Dashboard is the central place within LiftPilot where you manage the forms that can be used on your landing pages. These forms are typically integrated with other platforms to capture prospect information.
Accessing the Forms Dashboard
You can access the Forms Dashboard via the left-hand navigation menu. Simply click on the "Forms" link in the sidebar.
Creating a New Form
If you haven't created any forms yet, the dashboard will display a message stating, "You haven't created any forms yet. Let's fix that!". You can start the form creation process by clicking the "Create New Form" button. Alternatively, once forms exist, a "New Form" button is available in the top right corner.
Clicking either of these buttons opens an "Add New Form" modal. Within this modal, you need to provide the following information:
Form Name: Enter a descriptive name for your form, such as "e.g. Sign Up Form".
Integration: Select the platform you want to integrate this form with from the available options. The sources show HubSpot and Marketo as integration choices for forms.
Form ID: Provide the ID associated with the form in your chosen integration platform. An example format shown is "e.g. xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx".
Once you have filled in the details, you can click the "Add Form" button to create the form. There is also a "Cancel" button to close the modal without creating a form.
Integration with Page Elements
While the Forms Dashboard is for managing the forms themselves, these forms are designed to be used on your landing pages. For instance, when editing a Button element in the Page Editor, you can configure its action. One of the available actions for a button is to open a "Popup Form". The Page Editor interface indicates that if no forms have been added in the Forms Dashboard, the "Popup Form" option will show "No forms added", highlighting the connection between the forms managed here and their availability in the Page Editor. Forms added in the Forms Dashboard will be available to choose in the Button element action menu.
You’ll need to set up the correct integration with your marketing tool for the form to work properly. For more details, see the Integrations Dashboard.
LiftPilot is designed to facilitate personalized 1:1 web experiences, especially for ABM strategies.
